If i did that i would prob forgot i read it and months later try to read it again. So personally i just tag it as "dropped" and uncheck the "subscribe this manga" so I dont get any updates
i have like sm in my reading list that i never continued and have no plans but i refuse to remove it in case i change my mind (i never do)
sometimes you just have to quietly delete a manhwa from your My reading list because you notice how much disinterested you are in reading the 10 last chapters even with all the update notifications you keep getting. That's when I knew I'm never gonna finish it
