I was thinking that, too. She seems bright. Even if happy, you’d think she’d at least try and play it a little more cautious. Especially how she didn’t tell her parents that they just postponed the marriage. Like, I found that incredibly ridiculous. You’ve got a bad sister who tries hard to make the FL miserable in the original. You want your parents on your side, even if it’s for superficial reasons.
I like that they are addressing it and showing side characters wondering what is going on, but there seems to be a discrepancy between how they present the character and how she actually behaves. She is too intelligent to not be help in ease the transition of her new personality to the people around her…
