They found their matched crazy. However I do think MLs switch from wanting no children to wanting children very much (and secretly) is a big of a hard 180°

Ya it's been a few weeks since I read and iirc they're both in heat right now soooo O.o
I think his refusal to have kids might be more about him being sick of his grandfather nagging him. So he says he "doesn't want kids" because he wants his grandfather ro stop making a big deal out of it. But now that there's someone he's actually interested in he's like "oh maybe I DO want kids?". I could be wrong cause I'm so bad at remembering stories but this is my theory
