i did not read the whole novel but just some parts so i can't really tell you. to me, it felt a bit vague and confusing since they use alot of metaphors due to chinese censorship, so i simply watched the drama instead, therefore i can't give u a good review of the novel. though if u r interested in reading it, u can type "abo desire novel" on safari and u can easily read it
