Why they would want to waste their time on this earth defending and protecting literally nothing is beyond me. Why don't they put that kind of effort into real advocacy to improve things IRL? Because they're impotent and need to stroke their justice boner today to feel good about themselves. If they truly cared to understand the grown up survivors of this kind of abuse they would know this can be as helpful to them as it is to pedo/ephebophiles.
But when you try to talk to them about this potentially being something that keeps people form offending they cover their ears and scream about it being immoral regardless of the actual harm it may prevent. Some of these people don't care about kids at all they just want to feel superior to others.
