If tei could have kids and did give birth, their child wouldn't be just magically spared from the hereditary madness and when time comes to succeed shuraka as the next sun of aranata their child would have to kill the both of them and many innocents in the palace
I think bwat was really merciful by not making this mpreg if you really think about it
