I stg I usually love black flag extreme redemption arcs but… there was nothing here. Like I was genuinely trying to root for Garon but the author absolutely butchered his character arc. Roha should have fallen for him much earlier and there should have been at least SOME positive traits of Garon. But nah we see nothing. I think it would’ve been better if they had made him kill for the sake of trying to feel. Like he is a psychopath, so he tries to feel emotion by killing. And that’s why he’s so obsessed with Roha - he’s actually feeling emotion towards him for the first time. I think that was kinda what the author was trying to do, but it was executed so poorly.

There’s that other Oni fantasy BL manhwa that I’d recommend way more than this one (still black flag seme and captive uke, just done well). Lmk if anyone want the title for that instead.
