it's also just realistic. Gay men in real life don't actually have this magical ability to bear children (unless theyre trans, which comes with its struggles...) I think some people forget they're actually reading stories inspired by real people and that's why they want mpreg. they just see the "bottom" as a woman or as themselves whenever they say this.. i completely agree with what you said: there's no actual easy way around this without navigating their feelings and their internalized homophobia.

Am I the only one who likes that there isn’t any mpreg. Like I actually think their characters are so much more interesting without mpreg being involved. Like mpreg is such a cop out to good character writing. Because now they also have to navigate their feelings for each other with the desire of wanting kids, but resenting their own gender. Like that is good lgbtq representation, and if there does end up being mpreg it’s fine. The writing would just be so much better without it
