I’m not sure if this a translation thing or just the plot but how did the 1st empress got the madness thing when it’s only received by the direct descendants. And if the 1st empress is the direct descendant why is the emperor THE emperor instead of being prince consort. Plus it’s explicitly shown that 1st empress married to the royal family. Also the madness thing is due to the dragon’s blood so shouldn’t the emperor have it if he is the direct descendant? (￣∇￣") I have no more brain cells to make this make sense.
