The “green” saying is from the south referencing green/unripe fruit. The translators are most likely taking from this common phrase used to call someone “unready”.

    Agree. Where I’m from calling someone green is basically calling them innocent or a goodie two shoes.. Someone who doesn’t break the rules, does things to help others etc.. If we think red represents everything bad, then green represents everything good.
