Man this chapter rly broke me. It was horrific enough that in that country committing familicide was not only normal but also required to ascend the throne. No if and or buts. BUT every person of the royal family that manifested the eye of Natam also had a constant voice in their head urging them to kill others??!! Like that shit wasn’t bad enough??! And because Shuraka hasn’t killed every other member of royalty that voice is gonna stay inside his head forever??! It makes his love for his Beloved so much more tragic and beautiful since his presence is the literally the only thing that makes that voice go away.
