Nah fr be everyone just glazing his ass 'groveling' arc what kind of arc is that? so shit and ppl are forgiving him and also saying that they forgive him in behalf of Erena like genuinely wth

I've been complaining about how not to forgive him and maybe have a talk about the matter and let themselves separate.. but after the moment with the snowmen my cold heart melted a bit.
Still, there are things that cannot be forgiven that easily.

Can he make amends? Not sure. He's trying, but his attitude until the snowmen made me puke.

And since when talking about feelings is ‘ grovelling’??

My problem is, he’s refusing the divorce because of how he feels, of what he wants.
Sadly, not him, nor her grandmother are thinking about HER or giving her the right to choose her life.

See if the story went with, he decide to give her the divorce she wants and then pursue her after time as a new person and a new life I will be OK with that.
But right now he’s acting as she’s throwing a tantrum and acting hard to get.

Well, for a real person it seems like normal, for this character in particular, it seems like a mountain because of his situation and origins.

Dont misunderstand me, I feel the same way as you do!! XD This is just some opinion I got from another person which made me think he has this point in his favour, but that's all.

That's why I think the best ending would be... Leave her alone, part ways, ofc you give her the divorce, and maybe ending up as friends since you have repented and everything it could be some possibility, but that won't happen in this universe. A divorced couple with such difference in status can't be seen together, it would be a scandal.

This is also part of the story they want to create. Women with no rights, only to be a cute wallflower, without any sad feelings or dramas because she shouldn't have thoughts, or maybe just "I should buy some dresses".

But they have other dramas: judgement, staying pure, being kind and keep themselves in good shape for their husbands...

Society is like that.

In real life it happens something similar, but nowadays it's not as bad as it was many years ago :D

Yeah I get the opinion, if the story was different I would have took his feelings seriously, but considering everything he has done, that mountain can sit on him, for all I care ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
