i agree. with her character in such situations, i think i understand why she did the way she did (though it doesnt nullify the horrible stuff to etienne)
thank youuuuuuu, I was so disappointed in how easily ML was being forgiven for being to controlling and condescending and always deciding for MC, that I was fully checked out of reading the story, just skimming through every new chaper to see when the mother shows out. Honestly the mother and the other guy that likes the mc are my favourite characters, and basically they're just the characters who went bad from the situation they were in. like yes, bad people did bad things, but not cause they wanted to act evil, rather cause the bad thing was the only option that got them what they wanted. also i quite like the redhead omega, I'm just waiting fot him to act out
Unpopular opinion….. but I lowkey love the empress. I think it’s fucked what shes done to the ML but to have a character who’s so ambitious to grow up in a society that sees them as nothing as ornamental dolls must fuck with your head. I know she fear mongers the ML but I’m not wholly unconvinced that the stuff she said about everyone finding out about the ML being an omega wouldnt have come true. (Look at how all the other omegas have been treated in the story + everyone general distrust and dislike for the ML at the start)
Maybe it’s cause I’m massive feminist (omega rights!) and have a weakness for codependent/ toxic mother child relationships (let’s not read into that.) but yeah for all her murder and manipulating I just can’t fully hate her. (Also she’s gives me untreated BPD vibes)
Now on to someone who needs to STUF and THINK for a second, ON GOD THE ALPHA BE PISSING ME OFF. From his fucking little catty comment about omegas running around and getting into trouble, then him killing all those smugglers and how all those kidnapped omegas are just fucked now cause he couldn’t control his anger, to his unchecked jealousy and exposing their relationship to the other omega (who not knowing the situation, would obviously be hurt and tell someone ?!!!) . Half the shit that’s happening rn stems from him not actually trusting that the ML knows politics and how to handle people in the inner court. And the fact that there’s not consequences for his behaviour!! The ML will be salty for a chapter then get horny again and all is forgiven?? Ugh don’t PMO.
