If someone isn’t answering their phone, it’s completely reasonable to assume it might just be dead or uncharged. Meanwhile, the MC spirals into paranoia after the murder and is the only one in the friend group not concerned about the other guy’s disappearance… I feel like that’s much more of a “tell”
