I'm glad it's not focus on romance, it's very rare to have a story with female main character that doesn't focus on romance. Most stories tend to make it like romance is always needed when it comes to female mc. Like it's more important than making a 'character development'. I'm not saying it's bad to add romance, they should remember that it should not be the center of everything.
yes! i love daycare stories theyre all super endearing but most of the times when the ml got introduced and suddenly its 70% romance and 30% daycare. Im here to see people raising kids to be a better person, not to see them romancing most of the times. I love romance too, but sometimes it’s too much for me

just caught up with the novel and it’s definitely a worth reading. If you’re here for romance then i suggest you stop reading bc this definitely focuses more on the development of mc and the children and it’s like 126 chapters and romance is still barely progressing (not saying its a bad thing, but if u only here for romance then bare with the slowbrun).
it was an awesome read really, i love how it delves into the morality of the prince. My favourite part is definitely where mc learns how to receive and shows affection and opening her heart to the children,, idk where the direction of the manhwa adaption will go but hopefully artist will adapt it well and VERY HOPEFULLY no racist elements drawn with their depiction of "barbarians". But well, the novel is so far so good and its climbing onto my top 5 novels. Its making me love daycare stories.
