Its not nice for her to say but we literally are illegally reading her work without paying. Not taking a moral high ground here bc obviously.. im on the site… but she has a right to be upset lmao
both things can be true at once. she has the right to be upset and she's annoying af, she is way too arrogant because the stuff she makes isn't good enough to be doing all that
It makes me sad because there are so many talented authors out there that deserve the popularity she has but instead of focusing on her fans she spends hours being classist and lowkey xenophobic on Twitter
I just wanted to let other readers know that the author recently made posts calling illegal readers “disgusting,” “criminals,” and even said really hateful things toward nationality based also.Many people called the author out for it, but seeing those comments honestly made me uncomfortable and hurt because a huge part of this fandom outside Korea grew through international readers sharing edits, discussions, and love for the story.I understand creators being upset about piracy and wanting support for their work. Artists deserve payment and respect. But personally, I don’t think dehumanizing or hateful comments toward readers are okay either. I’m not forcing anyone to stop reading or attacking the author. I just wanted people especially younger fans who genuinely loved the story to know what was said so they can decide for themselves how they feel about supporting the work.
