I haven't read the new season because I could smell the angst a mile away. I feel like she should have just done a new series instead of potentially ruining her characters. Ive been reading the comments on how out of character some of the things are. :/
I belief those are just theories, as this story was pretty much done. It was a well finished story and not many had anything to say about not being content. So it’s just the fact that it seems like the characters are just made wrong? As they would never act like that so it’s bit frustrating
I've dropped it for now. I'll check the comments every so often, but a new series would've been great. I also saw that on Reddit but I'm not entirely sure, it seems like all of the characters are completely different but it overall just seems like she got bored or needed money.

i just read some comments from reddit about the new season for this. author was desperate for money and decided to make new season with angst cuz most popular bl have angst in them? i mean, is it riskier to make a new series rather than just make a new season for this once favorite work of hers? i'm sure her fans would really appreciate it if she made a new series and not ruin this current series of hers. i'm just confused. correct me if all I read is bs though. I would really like to know.
