not a professional artist but i draw as a hobby and making art is extremeeeeely hard, very time consuming, not to mention it exposes you to a lot of health risks, like back problems and wrist problems, or other join problems, if you draw for a long period of time, that can leave the author permanently disabled if it is not properly taken care of. also, they are most likely overworked, drawing nonstop for days just to pump out a single chapter every week. the chapter you read for about 2 minutes most likely took them 1-2 weeks of nonstop work. most of them work alone, if they're lucky they have 1 or 3 assistants that can take the load off their work. still, it is very physically demanding. all manhwas ive ever read have artists going hiatus for months, even taking years because they got injured at some point and cant draw anymore. some even quit and change artists because their injuries are permanent. so no, they are mostly likely not slacking off. its rude and watch you what? be an entitled brat who cant even wait for a month for a new chapter?? yall would complain too if this artist continued working but dropped the quality. touch some grass, a month or so will pass by quickly if you have a life
lmao the problem it’s not waiting, i think i made myself pretty clear but apparently not. the problem is that it seems like it’s a new trend to take always more pauses without increasing quality nor anything else. it’s an absolute truth? nope, just my opinion expressed on an illegal site, nothing more nothing less. y’all have to actually chill. this author in particular im sorry is injured, but their pauses are so many that i think they should just stop doing this job, it’s not for them. if you think im entitled that’s totally okay, we are just illegal readers not helping the authors you defend dearly.

this author is a pain in the ass i swear, how many more hiatuses will they announce before finishing this manhwa, which is becoming a torture to follow? in general the new trend of schedule brakes every 4/5 episodes is so shit, but lately every single author seems to be taking long ass pauses…. the length of each season is decreasing too, so they take 3/4 months to prepare like 20/25 chapters and they STILL announce hiatuses during serialization i don’t really know how the backstage of manhwas production really works, i heard something about authors being exploited but from what i can see it seems like some of them are just slacking off, reassured by the popularity of their works that’ll make people stick with your inconstant rhythm.
P.S. before anyone starts coming at me telling me i can’t complain being an illegal reader myself…. watch me.
