I don't know how else to describe the relationship between the main characters other than 'squishy,' cute, and sweet—the kind of sweetness that makes your teeth (and your heart) ache! It’s a beautiful slice-of-life story that makes you look past the art style. Personally, I don't mind the designs at all; they're actually quite cute, and the animal faces really reflect each character's personality.
