I actually get the story just fine; I was honestly just asking for fun. It's more about the clunky phrasing and the older timeline than a lack of 'reading comprehension' due to my age or whatever other lame excuse you're using.
Right?? I get the main plot, but the way they talk is a struggle, especially since I'm French and not used to this style of English lol. Happy to find someone who actually gets what I meant!
