Wow! This story was definitely a rollercoaster of heartfelt emotions. It feels so bittersweet to see it end, and I personally dislike him never getting to see the humans again. The story started with them and I wanted it to end with them. Regardless, of my small gripes, I loved the story and how it explored different themes throughout it, from lovers choosing to die, those left behind, having feelings/thoughts that you know are wrong but just can't help feeling, to exploring your own path, and saving everyone but not being able to say goodbye to the very people that encouraged said change to begin with.
