The comments I read didn’t say exactly what but just to clarify I did not say he didn’t deserve it or that he’s innocent. Just that this resembles what happens in real life to people and that is sad.
Like I’ve read some comments that say the MC did bad things okay but this is so sad because this actually happens to innocent people. They get abused so much they end up brainwashed. And this chapter showed how he’s slowly giving up. He has no energy to fight anymore. I have a feeling there’s going to be a point where he’s going to be able to escape but he’s going to be so scared of leaving that he won’t do it.
