I remembered this one bl manga, not sure if it was a guide verse but it was something similar. Mc comes from this big academia that houses people who have special abilities since the world was riddled now with infected (?) there are two ability users similar to ‘guides’ and ‘espers’ . The mc has a ‘weak’ ability I think it was like, a good sense of smell? Anyways a few chapters later he was sent out to find his ‘Esper’ TT
