Yeah it's obvious uncle wants to get rid of spiritual beings. He deliberately chose where hospital gonna be and made boar go insane. Maybe he wants Sihan to be the next leader or he thinks with things changes there's no need for spiritual beings. I think he's not someone with spiritual powers and that could be made him resentful too.
okay so my theory is uncle is the one killing sihan’s dad. Since the mythical creature only has one kid, his existence is deemed as an accident. So he doesn’t have any power or categorized as a spirit. That’s why he killed sihan’s dad and the spirit status is transferred to him.
I think he tried to kill the future generations of the mythical creatures, or manipulate them so he could control them. He’s getting rid of the powerful one first, the one who’s potentially become the future leader. He chose to remove the boar, and now change his target to ran. I feel like his plan is to make ran harm a human, and i fear ran will accidentally harm geuru in the future and it’ll make sihan get so angry at him and thus refuse to listen to ran’s explanation, choosing to side with his uncle. The moment when ran ask doeon what would he do if he lost his memory is giving foreshadowing tbh.
I can’t wait for season 2 aaah. I want to see ran falling in love quickly before doeon had to marry someone else
