Wait the drug part is so confuisngf😭😭😭

From what i understood, the drug gives a sudden burst of serotonin or dopamine (idk which) which later on as one sobers up, damages those neurons responsible for transmitting those hormones which strips away their ability to feel any sort of "happy" emotion,, and makes one addicted to it for that serotonin bursts.... and somewhere in this whole process light plays a role as some sort of trigger.....
