I agree with you so much. Both of the characters developed so much during the story is was refreshing to see both develop into something worse and then better. As someone who just binge read it it was a 10/10 though they rushed the the undying Bavarian king.
I like how both characters have depth, they are two side of the same coin, molded differently by their upbringing. You will understand why ML was such a prick and FL has such careless outlook on living. I wish people would read this to the very end and stick with the story so they could see how well written these two are. I was vexxed by their actions in the beginning too and ML cant be blamed, he was brought up that way, tho stll great he changed for the better. FL became strong overtime too. Overall a nice read.
