Get bored of it? Sometimes but I will probably never drop bl/yaoi. As the top comment of that thread elucidated, repetition is boring and our brains' always searching for novelty.
When this happens and I get tired of...say reading manhwas/gas, I watch anime for a while, then maybe dive into ao3 for a few more weeks then finally come back to comics (either bl, action, whatever strikes my fancy) and vice versa.
I will probably follow this system for as long as I live and maybe add more hobbies to the list^^
