Actually watched the donghua first and was looking for the source material.... Damn was I happy to see that they not only improved the character visuals but also the whole atmosphere and setting! The serious mc is so much better than this generic isekai protagonist

I’ve seen the donghua and I’m telling you, it’s WAY better than the manhua!!! It’s so much more mature and the execution is insane, I was literally hooked the entire time. I’m actually upset it only has 8 episodes because with that level of animation and storytelling, it deserves at least 25 per season!!
