This was the last thing I read today before sleeping and all the stuff happening got me depressed for the mc I almost made this comment about just k*lling myself if I were him but thankfully other readers have mentioned that he will get justice in the end AND WILL NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIS ABUSERS?? a great cherry on top! idk if Khalid is endgame considering so far he is ML material in a sense that he has a lot of heavy involvement with Nox, not that he is a good person or anything but hey, he was also a victim so I won't comment much. But anyway, khalid as endgame or not as long as my king nox gets back at all those assholes and gets the happy ending he deserves. I'm good
