so i cant find the novel anymore BUT from what i remember the main reason why ml is doing this because back then mc raped him back in middle school bcs he’s gay & this is all a revenge a plan type of plot. Mc also seems to develop stockholm syndrome (hostages gaining emotional attachment, empathy, sympathy to their captors)
the novel was worse, one raped the other and now he’s taking revenge( from what i remember,,)
