Oh have you heard of the Golem. I think it’s Jewish folklore. Essentially in some towns they would make a giants made of clay that would come alive to protect the town. Are you thinking like a mix of that and Frankenstein?

I also have a theory that he isn't actually a real human. Just because like how would a regular guy survive without sleep as long as he has. How would a guy his age be so Clueless and why does he pass out whenever he goes through a trial? I think Guwon is some sort of a construct, created solely to defend the town. Alternatively I can accept him being a real human IF he has been literally raised for this exact purpose since birth
But yea Guwon is innocent and I trust him with my life actually
