i totally agree with every point u made. i read this many years ago and i remembered liking it a lot. so i had high expectations once i started rereading it but i noticed all the points u mentioned. overall still a cute decent storey

Honestly this fell out towards the end. I am reread this because the first time i did was when there was only around 20 chapters and i reallyyy liked it then, but now I feel like they got together a lot faster and I couldn't really see the chemistry between them. Especially the timing of the confession, i would ve preferred a bit more drama or them knowing a little more about each other before the confession happened. Honestly when ed confessed i tought mcqueen was definitely going to reject him cause I just never thought he genuinely liked him back or that he was even interested in any kind of serious relationship. Overall the story and the message are nice but the pacing was a little fast, when reading it i felt like the MCs got together mainly because of the sexual tension between them not because they were genuinely attracted to each other but that s just my opinion. Also the r*pe scene made me a little uncomfortable and i didn't really like that event happening like that. But ignoring that the story is nice.
