if u really think about it, jae kyung didn’t have anyone when he was a kid he had to grow up hella fast considering his situation. he was always on guard fighting for survival for himself. but now that the thing he’s been fighting for is fighting for his life everything is just raining down on him all at once. in terms of relationships and like MEANINGFUL connections (really just on a basis level of having friends) jae kyung is still just a child in that aspect and he’s terrified.
