Honestly, I saw that it was heading in that direction, but I really wish the author didn’t pair them together. The whole thing is so messy. Everything that happened with both their parents is so draining, I really wish that it didn’t go that way.

Same thought, they don’t even have sparks, or is it just me?

    Hyung May 2, 2026 10:33 pm

Why base them from their parents when they are their own separate individuals

Nah I don’t feel it either

The level of toxicity that follow that relationship is crazy. Why would I want my mom to be attached to her ex that caused her trauma and why would I want my future in law to be attached to my mom that caused her trauma? Did you not read Love is an illusion?

Yes you’re right we shouldn’t base it from their parents but there is always an “ick factor”. It is socially messy and If you think about it in real life perspective, even if their parents reconciled both sides will be awkward.

There isn’t any spike, I feel like they just want to make a side story from all that. They know that people liked both pairs, so they’re trying to make a story from that.

Why would it?, both already moved forward and found someone they truly love and the fact their daughters are happy with one another I believe they will support them despite their history and maybe have moment to finally make amends and put their past differences aside for their daughters

    Brandy_ May 2, 2026 11:03 pm

So you jumped into a story that you have no knowledge about, and you’re wondering why people are against the pair that you like? lol funny very funny.

Child, I've been with this story since Hyesung and Dojin's first chapter and the very thought you opposing the idea they shouldn't be together says you don't want them to be together because of their parents and that primarily says you focus more on yourself than if you had a child

It is not that simple, If the scenario was “there parents are past lovers not MARRIED” maybe they can be paired up.. BUT their parents have TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS TO THE POINT of ABUSE AND PHYSICAL HARM. So if you have a morally conscious MIND maybe you will feel the same with US. Please read LOVE IS AN ILLUSION first.

And what about today? Their past is part of the foundation they have today with having daughters and that's still it, why are you basing their parents history for their daughters sake? They're already past everything and moved on with someone they truly love and the fact you keep bringing up their past says you're very still stuck in the past

If I oppose the idea, it’s because I know that when a relationship is built on top of a 'messy' family history, the children are the ones who end up carrying the emotional weight of their parents' trauma.

    Brandy_ May 2, 2026 11:24 pm

The amount physical, emotional, and verbal abuse, that happened between three of them. Isn’t something that can be cleared up by you saying that it’s their past. You are looking at the present. The author didn’t show you that any of them has received any type of treatment to forget about the past. You wouldn’t have known anything that they went through because you didn’t read love is an illusion. And that’s where you went wrong, you can’t come to me, talking about past is the past. You weren’t there when all of us were going to the ups and downs of this manhwa. Everyone in this manhwa went through some type of abuse. Like why should I forget the past just because my daughter likes a girl. You gonna a million different broads, pick a different one.

Acknowledging the parents' history isn't about being 'stuck'—it’s about respecting the truth of their family tree. You say they’ve moved on, but 'moving on' doesn't erase the fact that these families have traumatic past.

That’s what I’m saying the amount of trauma that happened is crazy. I would love a gl not gonna lie but not with them. It would be nice for them to have love between each other, but the history that their family has is so toxic. And I don’t want that type of stress. Like I’m already reading jinx. I don’t need that shit, granny bout to die in a couple of chapters. Dan in the hospital. Child I’m already stress.

And that's probably where your ick part stand because you focused more on yourself than supporting your child because you feel like you should prioritize your peace over your child, they have all grown up and learned to mature and learned to move forward and even had children and base on what you're saying it feels as if you're referring to Hyesung's relationship with his mother and yes that was a scar that won't heal fast but the thing between Soyi and Soobins parents right now is different

You’re saying just because they have children they should forget their painful pass and be happy for their child. In a perfect world that would be the case, but the world isn’t perfect. No parent is perfect. Why should I as a parent fully support my child, knowing that I’m tied to this person that has caused me pain in the past. At the end of the day, they’re humans. They’re individuals before they were a parent.

That trauma for chowon and the alpha was already long gone and they moved from it and I bet Soyi's parents already know who she's been with. This is no longer about their story but is more now on you and your messy way of thinking about your family dynamics and stereotypes that your partner should have a clean family history to uphold your family line and dynamics

Sweetie we’re reading on an illegal site, if I want to read a manhwa or two that’s gonna cause me stress. Let me worry about that. If we’re worried about my mentally heath send me a couple bands.
