I am a bit confused. Why would he lose it knowing she is an alpha? Its been a long time since I read Chowon's story. I can understand about losing it with finding out who So-Yi's parent are though.
Since he's a tsundere protective mom and it's his daughter's relationship plus he divorced an alpha...I imagine him not letting her and then knowing who so-yi's parents are, then you know realising she's not biologically related and calm down.
Something like that
