While these are some good points objectively, I could never imagine spending this much energy listing cons on a story that is mainly a comedy. For that reason this is nice to see lolol
it just feels so unnecessarily serious to see (not saying you cant take the story serious or see further perspectives of the story).
Your skills will be much appreciated elsewhere too, but holy cow
Its a 9.0 rating for a reason, I admire your wall of text though, ready every word!
Every new sentence I write sounds condescending. I swear Im simply perplexed, and serious too, not throwing shade, and the sarcasm is in good humor. As a professional yapper myself to another, I feel inclined to say still:
I think there are too many pros to outweigh any cons mentioned due to the genre here (comedy) and since it's well done most of the story flows by without feeling too heavy while still having the reader feel the sadness, tension, awkwardness, and funny parts smoothly, so it was interesting to see such a drastic opinion in the overall enjoyment of comments :)
Might I say your expressing of what you disliked of this without saying the story was bad or sucked, just a funny "mah boy deserves better," tied it all together at the end. He does deserve a hug after all that
A good review. Only thing I disagree with and feel obnoxious pointing out is while the ex was def pushy, borderline assaulting and harassment, she not a rapist, thats an extreme that (thankfully!) didnt happen. (•+•| she didnt need to leave with that last comment at allll tho
. . .
Do you think bc shinomiya kind of likes being embarrassed so many people get away with pushing him around?
Maybe she's not a rapist, but still acting as though you are going to sexually assault someone is really fucking weird. Frankly, I don't think the average person does that, and so if someone *does* do that, it's not crazy to go as far as calling them a rapist. If the roles were reversed, and Shinomiya did it instead, it would be taken a lot more seriously

- fl not domming, we start out with her talking about how men being dominant makes her uncomfortable yet she suddenly flips as soon as soon as she meets the most annoyingly pushy second ml. It just falls into the "women are ment to be submissive" ideology. She is only used as a tool to make the ml comfortable, she tops him for a second before they fuck in piv missionary. They have her dom until he gains his confidence and now she's suddenly a bottom.
- second ml is a homewrecker, he wedges himself into their beautiful relationship with his own selfish intentions and doesn't give up even when both parties rejected him. He's a disrespectful prick who is passed off as a "puppy guy" so the readers wont think its creepy as hell. And he is finished off be saying that if they ever have problems in their relationship he's gonna date one of them, do they not get a choice?
- bad lgbtq rep, second ml is bisexual and I complained already. Maririn is nonbinary and says such insensitive things to the fl that makes her doubt their relationship and screams the ml's secrets across the bar. His ex was there too, leading to more problems.
- rapist ex, the ml's problems with confidence come from her bitchy and MEAN personality. She said he was bad at sex and his desire to be pegged was disgusting before breaking up with him and leaving him naked in a hotel. Then suddenly she reappears when he is finally happy, pushes him into seeing her and then tries to force him to have sex with her being the Dom. She forces him down and opens his shirt yet he still had to reject her with all the respect and kindness in the world. She leaves saying that "she wouldn't fuck him anyway" like a teen boy. And guess who comforts the rapist ex MARIRIN!
- everyone is mean to the ml, the second ml challenges him to his face, his girlfriend not only let's the second ml flirt with her but brings him on a date with them, maririn yells his secrets forcing him to run away from the bar, thats also how the rapist ex found him. My boy deserves a better story and a hug. (#-.-)
