Journaling exists… if she has no one to talk to, journaling is a healthy alternative. Putting your inner thoughts outwardly can actually help you regulate your emotions. It’s basically therapy. By talking or writing your thoughts out, helps you recognise patterns, causes, and feelings.

There’s been many research done on how AI is not a good alternative for therapy. It feeds into your delusions, but even aside from that, there’s lot of data privacy issues and ethics that come into play when using AI for such things. Don’t get me wrong, not all AI is bad (it’s literally been a thing since the dawn of the internet), but how consumers use AI and the large scale use of AI (everyone with internet can easy access it) is what is causing a lot of issues. Unfortunately, not everyone has data&media literacy to understand the implications of the current AI.

I get thediscomfort but people do that in real life. Theyd rather talk to a robot than vent to a human so honestly its quite realistic. No matter how many people dislike ai its a sorce of comfort for many.

Nah I get that… thats why I said journaling exists. But these ppl don’t understand the concept of it. Like I mentioned, it’s not just writing words on paper. You look back at it and recognise the emotions and patterns you felt/went through. It’s just sad that they’d rather that then actually find a good alternative. They’re bound to be delusional, because unlike the Manhwa (where it seems like its less delusional), real life AI is not meant for therapy.
