I was literally just thinking this. This was one of the first Manga I ever read, what really got me into the whole world of it. It has so much nostalgia, but like you said, we are older now. Still love it.
Me too, I was a child when I started reading this so I was unaware of many problematic things, Now I'm old and simply can't get pass about a lot of stuff and dissociate myself

It was interesting and kept searching for an update almost every day but now, i somehow lost that spark.
The story keeps stretching unnecessary i think.
I don't know why though.
I hope we can see the end before we die. (sigh)
I do understand a little why this is a long story. Technicaly Kyoko is suppose to climb her way up in the industry and make a "in your face" at Sho, so of course it won't be "short". But yeah the "stretching" is unnecessary at this point.. Oki showing that Kyoko is progressing, oki to show the relationship between Kyoko and Ren progressing, oki showing Sho and how he is affect by it (all part of the main plot) Ren being Corn and having a deep back story he is working on too is a good addition no worry there. But when it comes to 10 chapter about an issue with a side caractere that bring nothing more to the story and we would forget and wont see that side caractere 10 chapter later what's the point? Those "side quest" doesn't add anything to the main story!
At this pace we will reach 55 years old and we'll still be looking for update and waiting for Kyoko to confess her feeling as well XD
I won't lie, I got attach to that story but let's say I am now an old woman sooo it doesnt hit like it did when I was younger and full of admiration for love! That age when I was going on full ship over some fictional caracter. I mean probably there is some youngster who catch up that story and goes all for it I don't want to make it a "me" problem but extending that story this much I do wonder if I will ever see the conclusion of it and I m probably not the only one in that boat. Probably a lot of people who was there at its beginning aren t following anymore (you grew up at some point, have a family and take other interest) good for me I am a nerdy old lady who doesn t have a life!! This is the one piece of shojo. Hope I'll get to see the conclusion at some point.. I do like the story don't get me wrong!! But I wonder if the author's "target public" is in fact our grant grant children.
