True lol! (LET ME YAPP FOR A BIT PLEASE)
This is also the reason why i studied some other languages and engaged myself in real conversations with some native ppl and ALWAYS ALWAYS check the raw in their original language...
Cause damnnnn when you at least have 30% knowledge about the original language, you'll know that there's TOOONNNSSSS of misleading translation EVEN IN THE OFFICIAL TRANSLATE ONE I've notice it when i started to pick up my mandarin lessons and kanji lessons again, like wtf.... Why the English translation is basically WASHED 70-80% OF THE CONTEXT??!! (Yeah i'm looking at you official english translation for jjk!)
The reason why i checked the raw for jinx is because i found one twt acc where they pointed out a few panels about the difference between the hangeul and the official english translation... So i checked/read the hangeul in those screenshots first, and then forming a direct translation in my mind before i swipe to the next photo/screenshot and let me tell you, i was NOT expecting it to be translated THAT WAY and i'm always 100% on Kim Dan's side since the very beginning (bottom enthusiast, so yeah) and ofc i always have personal beef if it's abt a trashy top. But damn... The English translation really fucked him up like some of the words aren't even in his original dialogue?!! Why they feel the need to add some extra stuff which is unnecessary and kinda ruining the context and the whole vibe lol
Like all the times since Kim Dan left when he's aggressive or mean, he's saying it more gently. In Korean, he also uses more flowery language occasionally so he's more like a snarky diva rather than an aggressive man. I think in chapter 81 the official has him saying "go to sleep so there'll be no excuse to slack off" or something but the Korean version has him saying "Rest well and do your best at work"

Look y’all I hate his actions as much as the next guy but remember that the official English translation has really screwed him over. He’s actually much kinder and softer to Kim Dan in the Korean version so yes, his actions were bad but his redemption arc started wayyy before what we know it to be
