Ofc! I don't mind sharing. I do have A LOT of theories about it though... But I think that my most realistic idea is that Guwon is the source of the problem that shattered the world.


As seen in the prologue and firsts chapters it started with maggots (zombies) and escalated to a far more horrendous and terrible disaster leading to the world almost ending. But it just doesn't start with just that, right? There has to be a source...somehow, someway.

And I think that Guwon maybe is the reason or is related to it.

Looking at the creators note, it is filled with unknown facts for Guwon, didn't even address why he has that big tattoo in his arms and neck. And it got me thinking... Who else has a mark on their neck like that? Or is so anonymous everyone is afraid of it?

Frankenstein.

Moreover the monster Victor Frankenstein made. I mean looking back at the earlier chapters it is seen that Guwon is kind and understanding from Teachs POV just like in the story, but it soon turned into confusion and madness with a hint of resentment.

Frankenstein (Guwon) a creature made for science, improvement and greatness is actually the start of destruction, badness and problems of the world.

And connecting with the hounds, I think that they're representing Victor Frankenstein the maker. That supports why their unwavering loyalty to Guwon is indestructible. Because they helped with MAKING Guwon. Collecting body parts, experimenting, researching etc. For the superiority and greatness of the world, where in they are building and helping the town FOR Guwon.

"Full of loneliness, anger and despair, it began to take revenge on its creator. It killed Frankenstein's younger brother, his friend, and finally his bride." - a summary from the story, reminds of something or perhaps someone...?

RIGHT! Teachs, father, Dr lim and...maybe.. Gyeongwha.
The representation is quite off yet is still impossibly near.

I'm quite proud of this theory but I know it's missing something and has a LOOOT of plot holes that needs to be filled in.

I made this theory like from s1 up to this and haven't checked or fixed some points! Please I would like to here y'alls opinions and theories too!!

wow, your theory makes so much sense and i feel like the story will revolve around your predicted theory, we have to wait for it to continue and be the judge but am so impressed (⌒▽⌒) it may explain why ml is sometimes clueless about some stuffs like intimacy and some emotions considering his supposed age.....
