You say that like an 'pivotal pointttt' automatically excuses bad execution. A pivotal scene should be impactful and not over-the-top for the sake of it. If the drama feels forced instead of earned then that’s not the story doing its job it’s the writing falling short.

sorry man when someone you love gets stabbed I bet you'll be sooo chill and not over the top. i mean, havent they been moving towards having a really positive relationship for a while now, and with kim dan almost dying, it feels appropriate for jaekyung to be distraught? (esp since it ties back to him)
