But the thing is she is not looking for the good in people. She hates him and knows he is a bad guy. But the girl has no brain to protect herself and even gets in the way of others protecting her.
It’s so insane the author made her this way after acting like she’s one of the smartest women in the empire. She’s so smart she’s dumb. I just have no other way to describe her.
With all the comments focusing on the FLs stupidity and gullibility, I think it's safe to say she's no different from one of those people who still try to see the good despite being fucked and stabbed in the back by the same person. It's an admirable trait in the beginning but downright hateful in the long run.
In a way, she's the type of FL not to be looked up to. I mean it took her quite a long time to even leave that bastard and yet here she is now, trapped in his schemes. She deserves it.
