Psychologically, so interesting and the deep dive in both brothers psyches is so sad and macabre. They are so fucked up but it’s like the only ones who lovingly understand them are each-other.
I wish I could’ve liked Roku and Yu more but unfortunately author dropped the ball with them. We don’t learn anything about Yu and he is just a scarecrow partner for the interesting Roku. Yu is just weirdly obsessed with Yu and there is never a strong foundation for the love between them besides a shallow infatuation. They never actually really talk about themselves or have deep conversations besides Yu’s pep talks.
I will say I quite enjoyed Roku ending up being the top! A pleasant surprise and sadly the only exciting part of their story, for me.
