MC was at the brink of getting gangraped by Andrew’s friends (when ML got hurt) and it was suggested he got raped by Harold until very late in the story. The fact that he was “only” drugged and assaulted (like gotten naked, touched and kissed) is revealed much later.
Cause you are giving spoilers wrong. People could drop it from that gangrape you know. Also you are literally talking about spoilers while you don’t wanna be spoiled is ironic. Good spoilers should be correctly detailed
I’m in the midst of reading the novel, like I said in the first comment, of course the spoilers won’t be up to date to the end of the story? It’s not because things “almost” happened that they don’t make you think they really did (at least from ML’s pov) for a good chunk of the story? I was planning on updating my thoughts when I was finished anyway.
And posting spoilers while warning it’s a spoiler is never an invitation about being spoiled. If you wanna add to the spoils warn it’s one, it’s as simple as that.

You literally need to expand my comment before you have to read it.

And it’s, alas, just as I expected. The ML knows that MC was kept locked up alone in a house for his whole childhood, without any papers nor any education, and that he was preyed upon by the ML’s father who tried grooming him. He knows his family knew and that they didn’t do anything about it, instead calling MC the culprit.
Yet, when MC is OBVIOUSLY getting abused, gangraped, and then ML sees him sleeping with the guy who groomed MC, ML chooses to believe his (prick) family (which he doesn’t like much) instead of MC… I just can’t. This author doesn’t take any of this seriously at all, and this just makes it so bad. Oh and, also, before he thought his lover was a man eater, he accepted making him live with his whole family (who participated in MC’s abuse one way or another) in their house, with MC’s groomer.
He’s not just a scumbag, he’s shit and has zero freaking ounce of intelligence in him, and acts like a prick. I wish he would suffer, but seeing the quality of the writing I fear this dumbassery will just be brushed off.
