I don’t remember which chapter, probably in the first three, you see a panel of a very young, child Ban sitting on adult Ray’s leg , which means Ray was an adult when he met Ban and kind of raised him I guess?? Either way creepy to fuck someone you knew when they were a child and also predatory. Also Ban is clearly hypersexual, and really attached to Ray which point to grooming.

I can't remember ban's age.
So far it seems like an toxic level of life control and devotion. I can see the correlation to grooming but it can also be other things. (Ie. Long term abuse of an adult and memory issues with manipulation)
