ch 9 FULL SPOILER: based off my translation

after minhee asks jehyeon if he has a bf and he says yes, she asks him who his bf is. jehyeon says hes from another school, so minhee wouldn't know him. seungju and taesu are still hiding in the nurses office and eavesdropping on the conversation between m & j. minhee asks jehyeon how long him and this person have been dating and he says since early march. jehyeon and minhee leave the nurses office. soon after, taesu and seungju also leave. seungju asks taesu if he knows about jehyeons mystery lover, and taesu says he heard some girls from another school talking about it. (PS: the translator alternates through girl/boyfriend when referring to jehyeons S/O, so ill just call them "lover", i actually believe they may be a girl, like im 85% sure it was just a mistranslation that they were referred to as a boy.).

continuing on, taesu says apparently the relationship was supposed to be secret. seungju wonders if jehyeon is lying. taesu wonders why seungju thinks jehyeon is lying, stating that hes the opposite of his older brother, who would be public with his relationship. he states that jehyeon was like this in first year. taesu suspects jehyeon and seungju like the same girl, which is why seungju is so concerned and curious about the state of his relationship.

back at home, seungju is having an internal crisis (sorry this is the best way i could describe it lol). he's wondering if jehyeon is lying, if this is a misunderstanding, but what if jehyeon is telling the truth? what if seungju mentions it to him and jehyeon questions how he even found out about this rumored lover?

now at school, jehyeon approaches seungju and asks him to leave together because it the end of the school day. while theyre sitting on the bench seungju is once again thinking to himself. he thinks jehyeon is hard to understand and always has been difficult to know what he's thinking.

finally, seungju says he has something he wants to ask. he asks jehyeon "what is our relationship?". jehyeon asks "what kind of relationship do you want to have?". seungju mentions the kiss, and comes to the conclusion theres no answer/reasoning behind this. he gets up from the bench and says this is pointless. jehyeon puts his hand out to reach for seungju, but pulls back, allowing seungju to go.

after this, they dont talk. seungju says it hurts more than letting go of junhyeok. suddenly, he gets a call from junhyeok. junhyeok asks seungju if theres anyone in his class named dohyun. junhyeok is asking since he has to speak w/this student. seungju says he'll give him the number. suddenly, junhyeok asks seungju if something is wrong. seungju says nothing is wrong, and then asks about jehyeon. junhyeok asks if they got in a fight and seungju says sorta, then junhyeok asks if they talked it out yet. junhyeok then gives seungju advice saying he should talk it out with jehyeon.


junhyeok then asks seungju if he wants to come over, which in turn seungju says yes. (junhyeok invites seungju over to talk things out with jehyeon). seungju promptly thanks junhyeok, then the ch ends
