(I should probably also mention that I mostly
feel this way about the characters in the story
and not the novel, they actually have more
emotional moments and progress in the novel.
It's just not being incorporated well, most likely
cause it seems like the artist is rushing things.
Like long arcs in the novel will go like 3 swipes in
the manwha)
It's because Han worked from a different publishing company in season one, I could say the story board creator (the raw sketch creator) did a really great job in sketching every scenarios from the season one, it's just sad that Han was exploited from that company making her overwork herself to the point she fell ill which made her to almost drop the whole story that time. But fortunately the new company she's now working with decided to pick her and the story up while also being considerate of her (giving her 10 days of rest every 4th updates), the only unfortunate thing is that the current story board creators can't properly give the same details as the novel or the previous season, making some of the important parts of the story to get skipped or missed (the only great thing happened is the art improvement

Now I don’t mean to start a war with anyone, I LOVE codename Anastasia…season ONE… there was actually so much wasted potential that it makes me want to bawl, I still feel the same way after finishing the novel, but what’s even worse is that half the things that happen in the novel aren’t represented more in the actual story, I’m content with the new artstyle, and it’s not bad at all, (despite a part of me missing the old one) but I don’t FEEL, the “Codename Anastasia” feeling that I got in season one, in season two. (Even the characters don’t feel like the same ones in S1) I just wanna know if anyone gets what I mean I feel so strongly about this because it’s a story I was heavily invested in! (Anyway pls don’t kill me in the comments I’m done yapping)
