It's brought on by poor communication. If she had been up front and communicated that she was uncomfortable with him being so close to the Princess or any sort of communication between them besides strained politeness? And he is making an effort and she's ignoring it! He's going out of his way to correct her misunderstanding. He did not even know there was a problem! (￣∇￣")

Meh, FL is just timid and expects of him nothing but what is basically the given in their culture. Her lack of repose is annoying but this is def way more on ML than her. It's not like she really knows him either, all she ever did was catch him lacking, so why would she mouth off and potentially face retaliation of someone who's social rank and title is higher than hers? You can't expect a high school girl to speech 100 that shit IMO.

Did you miss the flash back in the first chapters where she told him during the traveling shops that he's talking alot about the princess and that he should stop cause she doesn't like it. And his response is to get mad at her. Tell her he didn't even want to come to the Event And Cuts The Date EARLY. She did talk to him but she thinks it's pointless cause he puts the student council and the princess above her. Thats why communication isn't working even in recent chapters he clears up the flowers to her and guess what!?!?!? She's indifferent she doesn't care about his reason.
In my eyes this relationship is dead to her, there's no love he had his chance and didn't care until it was too late. The only reason their still together is because of the society they live in and she could end up married to a lower status or older man. Their engagement and marriage is gonna be in name only.

Bruh isn't there like a page where it explains she tried to communicate with him and was ignored and by the time of the first chapter she is so done that she literally lost any feelings she once head towards ml, like no feelings whatsoever whether it's be hate or resentment, like there none she's literally void of emotions towards him cuz of all the neglect she got from him even if she tried to assert and explain and try to COMMUNICATE with him, she still got ignored and was shouted at (I think, forgot), and to tip it off the ml didn't even explain what's going on, it's the ml who didn't comm8with the FML, the fnl at least tried her best, but if the other person wasn't listening then what's the point and if you're really reading this has been going on since ethey were kids.. bruh -__-
