I think it's because he doesn't really have a feel for how much money they have amd is still learning about the value of money on earth so he probably thinks if he asks for dragon lungs they will be like wtf dude are you crazy?!?!?! Or smth like that lol
But everytime someone’s been like “I’ll compensate you however you want” why hasn’t he just asked for the dragons lungs? I feel like there’s been a few opportunities now. To me that’s kind of a plot hole but idk correct me if I’m wrong
