I never said it's inhertly sexual, but overlooking the disturbing underlines IS completely lacking the "complex concept" of the one shot, do you over look your sister by showing her naked portrait to the entire school? Without considering those are minors, it's clearly hinted there's some type of obsessive/codependent relationship a sign of that is how in art class she doesn't draw anything but her sister, in the scene were she tells her sister to strip, the panel with her face is clearly making her look sinister with the use of light and shadow, just like how Fujimoto does with many Makima scenes, and towards the end the protagonist slowly accepts this kind of relationship. You're being oblivious to the subtext when it's clearly put in front of you how this isn't healthy, it's okay if you like it btw I also like other works that aren't rainbows and unicorns I just don't call them cute??
Your acknowledgment for minors only applies to when they’re doing something to them and not how they do stuff.
Her little sister is obviously younger and is also a minor so she doesn’t see any wrong in what she’s doing, and simply sees it as appreciating her sister for the way she is, even if her observation may be wrong.
She’s not dependent on her sister, she’s not obsessed with her sister, I also don’t know where you got the idea that she’s codependent on her?? she isn’t some weirdo when it comes to it, because when reading it you realize that it’s not meant to be about how she’s "obsessed" with her sister’s body and how she’s trying to "get it" or smth, she’s genuinely just trying to portray her in an authentic way.
Of course, if somebody drew me naked like that and showed the whole school, I’d be fucking livid because I don’t want people seeing my naked body, but In understanding why it was, and what it was about, helps to understand that it wasn’t because of some kind of obsession or sexualization, but simply because they look up to you.
I wasn’t implying that it’s cute that she just put a portrait of her sister’s naked body up for the entire school to see, the STORY is cute.

Reading this from an artistic perspective, idk who’s thinking of incest nd shit, it’s actually so beautifully written.
The sister didn’t have any lustful intent, just the beauty of a human body from someone she looked up to, even if inaccurate, it’s so wholesome and cute
